Ringworm is a skin rash caused by a fungal infection (not by worms). It is also called tinea corporis. It is usually a red, itchy, circular rash with clearer skin in the middle.

 

 

Athlete’s foot (also called tinea pedis) is a fungal infection that usually begins between the toes. It is a scaly rash that usually causes itching, stinging and burning and that can be spread via contaminated floors, towels or clothing.

Jock itch (also called tinea cruris) is a fungal infection that usually affects the groin and inner thighs.
